In this workshop, Jolene will work on refining your craft and approach to every major category of commercial auditions and copy, give you additional tools to take control of your auditions and do your best, handling bad or confusing direction, and mastering the art of the callback.
Week One: Lead-ins, Buttons, and Commercial Improv.
Week Two: Subtle and Broad Comedic spots.

REECE RIos' Commercial Workshop

EVERY MONTH ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS FOR FOUR WEEKS FROM 7-10PM :: Ages 15+
In this workshop, Reece will take you through the beginning, middle, and end of the process that is commercial auditioning. He'll teach you a practical approach towards handling the unexpected; working in pairs and groups, the art of listening, and even putting you in the seat of the clients as to who you'd book and why.
Week One: Introduction & Extensive Q&A regarding the State of Commercials | Calibrating Expectations | Individual Cold Reads.
Week Two: Prepared Read - Original cold read with notes applied | Paired cold read.
Week Three: Perform Prepared Partnered Read in Callback Format | "Make it your own." | Cold read.
Week Four: "Make it your own." Prepared from previous week in Callback Format. | Put it all together and see who booked.
